The film, directed by her husband John Krasinski, was a critical and commercial success, and Blunt's performance was widely acclaimed. Will Smith won Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for his role as Richard Williams in "King Richard," a biopic about the father of tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams.


On the television side, "Succession" took home the award for Best Television Series - Drama. The show, which follows the power struggles within a wealthy family's media empire, has been a critical darling since its premiere in 2018. "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" won Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy, making it the show's fourth Golden Globe win in the category.



Kate Winslet won Best Actress in a Limited Series or Television Movie for her role in "Mare of Easttown." The show, which premiered on HBO in 2021, follows a detective investigating a murder in a small Pennsylvania town. Ewan McGregor won Best Actor in a Limited Series or Television Movie for his role as Halston, a famous fashion designer in the 1970s and '80s.
